💕 Indy update! 💕

We are so happy to share that Indy is settling into her new home beautifully. Her family says she is wonderful in every way—which comes as no surprise to us. ❤️

She’s sleeping through the night, adjusting so well, and already making herself right at home. Hearing how loved and comfortable she is means the world to us.

Thank you so much to her adopters for giving Indy a chance and opening your hearts and home to her. Seeing our shelter animals thrive in a home is the best part of what we do, and Indy truly deserves this happy ending.

Enjoy your new life, sweet girl—we’re so happy for you. 🐾💕

🎉 Happy Adoption Update! 🎉We’re so excited to share that Indy was adopted today! 🐾❤️

🚨 CODE RED – URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR OUR DOGS & CATS 🚨

365+ days. Over a year of waiting for some of our animals.

Some of our dogs and cats have spent far too long waiting for someone to choose them. The shelter is no place for an animal to spend its life.

Day after day they wait in kennels—surrounded by barking, noise, stress, and constant activity. For our cats, it’s no different. They deserve sunny windows, soft blankets, and a quiet home. For our dogs, they deserve walks, couches, and a family to come home to. Instead, they continue waiting.

A shelter can be overwhelming. The loud environment and kennel life take a toll on them mentally and emotionally. Even the most resilient animals begin to shut down after waiting so long.

We are completely out of room for new intakes. Every kennel and cat space is full. We are at a breaking point, and difficult decisions may soon have to be made if we cannot create space.

We urgently need adopters, fosters, and rescue placement for our long-term residents and animals currently in our care.

Please help us give them the chance they deserve.

📍 Elbert County, GA
🚗 Transport can be arranged for approved rescue
📩 Message us if you can adopt, foster, rescue, or would like more information.

If you can’t adopt right now, please share. One share could be the reason an animal finds safety and a home.

They have waited long enough. Help us get them out. 💔🐾

Two of our longest residents are still waiting for someone to choose them, and we can’t believe they’re still here.

Tucker (intake date 4/22/25) is around 55 lbs and is a very loving boy with a gentle, affectionate personality. He loves being close to his people and would happily stay by your side—or curled up in your lap—all day long. He’s very well-mannered, walks great on a leash, and is a loyal companion through and through. Tucker can be selective with other dogs, but with slow, proper introductions he does well. More than anything, he just wants someone to love.

Pudge (intake date 5/1/25) is around 60 lbs with the most unique coloring and the sweetest personality to match. He came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own and has been patiently waiting for a second chance. Pudge is heartworm positive, but it is treatable and he has already started treatment. He loves attention, enjoys going on walks, and is more than ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his own.

Both of these boys are incredibly deserving and have spent far too long waiting in the shelter. Day after day they watch others leave while they remain behind, still hoping their turn is coming.

Please help us find Tucker and Pudge the forever homes they deserve. If you’re interested in meeting either of them, please message us or stop by. Even if you can’t adopt, sharing their faces could be what gets them seen by the right person. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to have received our new-to-us animal control truck. This vehicle will make a tremendous difference in our daily operations by allowing us to transport animals in a much safer, cleaner, and more comfortable environment. Reliable transportation is essential for responding to calls, assisting animals in need, and ensuring they arrive safely for veterinary care, rescue placement, or shelter intake.
