🍀 Also on the agenda for this week is Georgia Officer Training! 🍀

This event is also held at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. GOT is an opportunity for 4-H’ers to learn and prepare for their upcoming leadership roles within the district. They also get to spend some time on campus in Athens. ❤️🖤

Elbert County is proud to have TWO District Board Members this year. Zola was elected to serve as the Junior Board President, and Makayla was elected to serve as a Senior Board Member. Certified 4-H Volunteer Tracy Brown, along with Bruce Brown, serve as Northeast District Board Advisors.

School may be out for the summer, 😎 but that doesn’t mean we slow down! 😅 Yesterday, we attended the Northeast District Winner’s Workshop 🥇 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center with some of our students who will be competing at Georgia 4-H State Congress 🍀 in July.

You’ll join a supportive local team alongside our 4-H Youth Development and Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) programs — and become part of the larger UGA Extension network across Georgia.

WHAT A DAY!!! 🥳

THANK YOU Elbert County citizens and Elbert County Board of Commissioners for your AMAZING support of UGA Extension - Elbert County and Elbert County 4-H over the years!!! 🍀❤️ Today was a beautiful day to welcome the community to our new, FOREVER home, perfectly located close to the schools we predominately serve and built especially for the needs of Extension | 4-H. We are forever grateful! 🥰 While this may be our new Office, this is YOUR BUILDING! We look forward to many years of welcoming and serving our community in this location. Come see us!

We’re so thankful for this partnership AND the ability to protect almost 600 pets plus their families! Thank you, All Creatures Animal Hospital and Elbert County! We appreciate the Elbert County Fire Department for the usage of their departments too!

All Creatures along with Elbert County 4-H were able to vaccinate 597 cats and dogs in Elbert County on 4/25!!!! We are so blessed to be able to serve this community and make it a safer place for all. Thank you so much to all of the volunteers, 4-H, Lauren Dye, and so many more who put in hard work to make this happen!

🍀 HELP!!! 🍀 We need to know who gets the honors of “pie’ing Ms. Alex” during Open House tomorrow! Gavin or Lily?!? If you think both should, then give both their pictures a “Like!”

We hope y’all are making plans to come see us tomorrow! Open House is drop in from 3pm - 7pm with the Ribbon Cutting at 3pm. We have plenty of refreshments to share!
