Please be advised that the BRIDGE on Augusta Rd, between Old Fellowship Rd and Ovett-Moselle Rd. will be closed beginning:

⏰Estimated CLOSURE time: Until further notice.

During this time there will be designated detours at OLD SCHOOL HOUSE RD.

� National Work Zone Awareness Week Spotlight: Beat 4 Road Department �

Today, we proudly recognize our Beat Four Road Department. Led by Supervisor Joey Bradshaw, Beat Four serves most of the southwest part of the County and includes the communities of Boggy, Moselle, Eastabuchie, Johnson, Pine Grove, Sandhill, Rainey, and Union. We appreciate their continued dedication to keeping our roads safe and maintained. Beat Four’s commitment ensures that residents can travel safely every day.

�As we observe National Work Zone Awareness Week, we remind everyone to slow down, stay alert, and respect work zones. The crews working on our roads are not just employees—they are neighbors, friends, and family.�

We are currently experiencing an increase in destruction of our Beat 4 road ditches. The latest incident has occurred on Old River Road. While the young people creating the deep ruts find it fun and amusing it is not only a cost to the taxpayers to send a crew out to repair it, it also often undermines the safety of our road structures as it decreases proper drainage capabilities.

We ask if you see someone “joyriding” and tearing up the ditches please report it to local law enforcement.
