We have scheduled an open house for Wednesday, October 21, at 10:00 AM. Anyone interested in submitting a development proposal for this home must attend the open house.

Are you interested in taking on a substantial home rehabilitation project?

The Erie Land Bank, in partnership with the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Erie, has acquired 3229 Brandes Street in Southeast Erie. This three-bedroom, one-bath home is severely distressed and filled with junk and debris. It will take significant work to bring it back.

Before spending funds on cleanout or moving toward demolition, we want to hear from individuals or developers interested in rehabilitating the home under a development agreement with the Erie Land Bank. Visit Https://www.erielandbank.org/properties/listing/3229-brandes-street for pictures of the property.

If you’re interested, contact the Erie Land Bank at 814-870-1540 or via email at [email protected] to express your interest. Staff will arrange a time to view the property once interest is established.

Let’s keep moving distressed properties back into productive use.

The Erie Land Bank has added 17 properties to its inventory through the judicial tax sale process.

These properties will now be evaluated as we work through title review, site cleanup, and planning for future reuse.

This is the purpose of land banking. We take properties that have become liabilities, stabilize them, and prepare them to become assets for neighborhoods across the City of Erie.

Our goal is simple: return problem properties to productive use and keep Erie properties in Erie hands.
