Trustmark had a ton of calls from customers saying they have received calls claiming to be from their bank with personal information. This includes social security numbers, DOB, address, sometimes even multiple addresses they have had in the past. Giving information such as deposit amounts from their accounts and balances. They will send the person a code and ask for it to be given to them (this is the person hacking into their online banking)

If anyone calls claiming to be from a bank, fraud, or security dept, saying there is an investigation on the account, do not speak with them. Tell them you will go to your local branch and hang up the phone.

This applies to any of your accounts with any bank or financial institution. If you are not sure and it does not sound correct to you. Contact your local bank to ensure you keep your finances safe.

Lenard Fryer, 43 of Eufaula. Last seen on 5 Sept 2026 at 0800 in the Depot Food Store on Hwy 30.

Lenard Fryer is vulnerable, has a medical condition, and requires medication. If you see him or know of his whereabouts, please contact the Eufaula Police Department immediately at 334-687-1200.

This is why we utilize Flock Camera systems. This asset allows us to gather information quickly so that we may address Abductions/Kidnappings and violent crimes with minimal delay. Flock cameras have been in Eufaula for a few years now and have assisted us with many violent crimes and missing persons. None of our cameras record live video or have facial recognition. We do not track everyone everywhere they go, that would simply be impossible, we do not have the manpower nor is it for that purpose. We utilize these cameras for the example set by the Moody Police Department and other reasons I stated above. The good news is if you have not committed a serious violent crime or abducted anyone, you can enjoy your journey through and around Eufaula, we have no interest.

Every entry that any department submits in the Flock camera system is logged and tracked to ensure there is no unauthorized usage.

I have attached the Flock Frequently Asked Questions link so you can educate yourself on what Flock actually does. There is a lot of controversy in the U.S. right now and I just want everyone to understand what the system does. Also keep this in mind, if a loved of yours goes missing or a child is abducted, would you want us to use Flock to assist in finding them? I would.
