🚁 A big shoutout and THANK YOU to Two Bear Air Rescue!
Today, Two Bear Air Rescue made the flight to Lincoln Electric Cooperative to spend time with local organizations and demonstrate how their team works to rescue people in some of the most challenging situations and terrain.
LEC was joined by InterBel, Eureka Volunteer Fire Department, CAN-AM Search & Rescue, local first responders, and several other area organizations for the demonstration. The training gave everyone an opportunity to learn best practices for working alongside Two Bear Air Rescue, including how to safely coordinate and communicate with their crew during an emergency.
"It was an incredibly valuable learning experience, and a great example of local organizations coming together to make our communities safer." - LEC Safety Manager Shayna Sharron
The demonstration also gave everyone a firsthand look at just how quickly Two Bear can go from training to the real thing. Before the visit was over, their crew received an actual emergency call in Glacier National Park. Just like that, it was time to get back in the air and get to work.
Two Bear Air Rescue has been saving lives across our region for more than a decade, providing specialized aviation support for search-and-rescue operations and working alongside local first responders and SAR teams.
Thank you, Two Bear Air Rescue, for taking the time to visit LEC, share your knowledge with our local responders, and most importantly, for everything you do to help keep the people of Northwest Montana and beyond safe.
Stay safe up there 🚁
