YOU GUYS.

We tried a little experimental cross this year; our Normande dairy bull bred to Betja, our beautiful Lakenvelder milk cow, and I don’t think it could have turned out any better.

Meet Tiramisu. 🤎

Is she not the prettiest little heifer calf? With those coffee-and-cream markings, her name practically chose itself.

We are completely smitten.

The best thing about spring on the farmstead?

Babies. Always babies.

We are delighted to welcome Weatherby’s newest heifer calf to the Meadowvale family. Weatherby is our oldest milk cow, and at the grand age of 15, she is still blessing us with a beautiful baby each year.

She has seen it all, done it all, and remains one of the steadiest, wisest, most wonderful mamas in the herd. There is something very special about watching an old cow mother a new calf with that much calm confidence.

Now this sweet little lass needs a name.

We thought it would be fun to invite our Meadowvale community to help us choose one. Drop your best name ideas in the comments below! We can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Happy Mother’s Day, from the Meadowvale Mamas to you.

We can’t wait to see how she does in the show ring this year! She’s shaping up to be a very nice little heifer.

We believe in being transparent with you, always. 🤍

After a long winter season of doing everything we can to absorb rising costs here on the farm, we’ve reached a point where we need to make a few small adjustments to keep things sustainable on our end.

Beginning this month:
• Milk has increased by $1 per jar
• Flathead drop point delivery fees will increase by $0.50 per order

From feed and diesel fuel, to packaging and everyday materials, the cost of producing clean, high-quality food has continued to climb for us, rapidly. We’ve carried as much of that weight as possible for as long as we could, but in order to continue caring for our animals well, stewarding this land, and bringing you the kind of food you trust (without cutting corners!), this modest increase has become necessary.

Our commitment remains the same: thoughtful, regenerative practices… animals raised with care… and food you can feel good about bringing to your table.

We’re deeply grateful for your support of this farmstead. It truly makes this work possible. 🌿

Rainy days, fresh growth, and new life. Wishing you a blessed Easter, from the Meadowvale family. ☀️

Something fresh is blooming at Meadowvale, alongside the wildflowers in our pastures. 🌿

For quite a while now, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on a thoughtful refresh of our website, our branding, and the overall look and feel of Meadowvale Farmstead & Creamery.

We’re so excited to finally begin sharing it with you.

This new chapter includes:
✨ a beautifully refreshed website
✨ updated Meadowvale branding
✨ a new line of packaging rolling out across the farmstead
✨ and a slow, intentional release of new products in the coming months

Our heart is still the same: local, natural, regenerative food from our farmstead to your table. But this new season reflects more clearly who we are, what we’re building, and the kind of experience we want Meadowvale to offer.

Thank you for being here, supporting our family farm, and growing with us. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next. 🤍

Take a look around the new site and stay tuned; there is more on the way: https://meadowvalefarmstead.com
