We are pumped for our 2nd first day tomorrow!!! Any Bullpup that hasn’t come to school yet - we will see you tomorrow!!!

The new school year starts August 10!

Starting the year in two smaller groups gives every student an easier first few days back, shorter lines, calmer hallways, and more one-on-one attention from their teacher right when they need it most.

By the end of the week, every EVSC student is back in the building. See the full schedule below.

Because of their generosity, every one of our students, teachers, and staff will enjoy an ice cream cup with their lunch on Friday, August 14, as we welcome everyone back for the first day that all of our children are together again!

We are so grateful for community partners like Zesto’s Riverside, who continually show our students they are loved and valued making our GLA family even stronger.

📣 Introducing the New Principal of Glenwood Leadership Academy! 📣

Hello, Bullpup families!

My name is Amber Santana, and I am incredibly honored and excited to serve as the new Principal of Glenwood Leadership Academy!

This school has been my home for the past 15 years, and this year marks my 16th year in education. During my time at GLA, I’ve had the privilege of serving our students and families as a 4th grade teacher, Instructional Coach, and for the past three years, your Assistant Principal. Every step of my journey has strengthened my love for this incredible school community.

Originally from Michigan City, Indiana, I came to Evansville in 2007 to attend the University of Evansville. I never imagined that one decision would lead me to a school that would become so deeply rooted in my heart.

As principal, my vision is simple:
❤️ Every educator deserves a school home where they can thrive.
❤️ Every student deserves high expectations.
❤️ Every family deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and connected.

I believe that the strongest schools are built through meaningful partnerships between school and home. My goal is to create many opportunities for our families to be actively involved in the life of Glenwood Leadership Academy because when we work together, our students thrive.

It is truly a privilege to continue serving the school and community that has given me so much over the past 15 years. I can’t wait to partner with each of you as we begin what I know will be an amazing school year.
