Learning is going beyond the classroom!

Mrs. Barton, Mrs. Daugherty, and Mrs. Gentry recently spent time at the University of Southern Indiana creating exciting Trail Backpack Activities for families to check out from the USI Library!

These hands-on backpacks are designed to help families explore local trails together through engaging STEM, literacy, nature, and observation activities. Whether you’re searching for pollinators, identifying plants, solving nature challenges, or simply enjoying the outdoors, these backpacks make every hike an adventure in learning.

We are so proud of these teachers for creating meaningful opportunities that connect families, nature, and learning. We can’t wait for our students and community to explore the trails with these amazing resources!

These backpacks will be available for anyone! Happy Exploring!

🌱✨ Our Student Lighthouse Team kicked off the new school year with their leadership retreat today!

As we embrace our theme of growing this year, these student leaders spent the day building relationships, setting goals, and preparing to help our Mustangs learn, lead, and grow together. We can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll have on our school community this year! 💙🧡🐴

🏀⛹️‍♀️Calling all 4th - 8th grade North feeder school girls!!!! We're excited about our upcoming North Girls Summer Basketball Camp and would love to see all of you amazing young hoopers there! 🏀⛹️‍♀️

Here's the dets: Our Summer camp will be held June 24-25, 2026 for all incoming 4th-8th Grade Girls! Camp will be at NHS in Husky Arena (the main gym). Girls entering 4th-5th grades will attend from 5:30-7pm. Girls entering 6th-8th grades will attend from 7:00-8:30pm both nights. There will be skills work and tons of fun to be had. Let's Get Better Together!

Our North High School Girls Basketball team & coaching staff are excited to help your future Lady Huskies Hoopers develop their skills and their love of the game! We hope to see you there!
