How You Can Help:

Pick Up a Box: Boxes of delicious Caramel Chocolates and mixed boxes are available in the main office now!

Sell & Share: Share with family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

Pro-tip: stock up for Halloween now and be the best house in the neighborhood!

Turn In Raised Funds: Return all collected funds by September 28th!

Every box sold helps fund upcoming field trips, classroom supplies, or school events!

Hello, Pumas!! Today is Thursday, September 17th.
Happening today at the Park:
Congratulations to our Speech Team on their first Round Robin! All of our participants did an excellent job, and we are so proud of the hard work, preparation, and courage they showed. We would also like to recognize the following students for the awards they received:
Abby Groben – Theatre – 1st Place
Kylee Sosh – Poetry – 6th Place
Kylee Sosh & Cora Wilson – Duo Scripted – 4th Place
Noelle Gibson – Impromptu – 6th Place
Aeon Howard – Impromptu – 4th Place
Desmond Lowe – Prose – 6th Place
Hannah Willis – Poetry – 4th Place
Teddy Romerhausen & JoAnna Campbell – Duo Non-Scripted – 2nd Place
We would also like to give an honorable mention to the following students who qualified for placement but, due to scheduling conflicts, were unable to stay in order to be considered for ribbons:
Ruth Brown – Original Oratory
Skye Stute – Poetry
Skye Stute & Vincent Treadway – Duo Scripted
Congratulations to these students on this well-deserved recognition!
We are incredibly proud of our entire speech team! For many of our students, this was their first time competing, and they represented Helfrich Park with confidence, professionalism, and sportsmanship. We can't wait to see how much they continue to grow throughout the season. Way to go, Speech Team!

Riddle of the week:
Q - What is 40 divided by ½, plus 15?
A - 95.
Why? Dividing by ½ is the same as multiplying by 2. So, 40 times 2 plus 15 equals 95!

The office sells bottled water, earbuds, and lip balm for $1.00 each.

The chocolate sale is going great - several golden tickets have already been found! The battle for the Pacers tickets is on!

For Lunch we are having cheeseburger mac or chicken taquitos.

After school, we have:
6th Grade Art Club, Cross Country, and Rock Band have practice until 4PM.
Reserve and Varsity volleyball have practice until 5PM.
The 6th grade volleyball team plays Scott School at McCutchanville at 5:30PM. Go, Pumas!
