This is how I wind yarn into a center pull ball 👀
And goodness!
Look how perfect it turns out! 🥹🥰

Way before we had tools with gears for winding yarn, we had the nostipine. Or the handle or a wooden spoon. 😉Or perhaps just a nice smooth stick. 😆

No matter what we use, if we follow this technique we will get a fancy center pull ball yarn cake!

Building an equinox altar today.🌀💕
Getting out the eggs created in years past. 🥚💕
Reflecting on balance (and my dramatic lack of it in practice 🤣)

And all around me, the world is preparing too. She is waking up the Root Children. 🌱💕

That they are climbing to the surface now may forever be a source of wonder for me. In Interior Alaska, where I have spent most of my life, the snow is still a thick blanket. Although the changing light is its own magic to celebrate on the Equinox ☀️💕
