🎉 REUNITED🎉
Great news! Princess is now home safe and sound. She had been hanging around the same street for a couple of days when a good Samaritan was able to finally get her. She more or less surrendered. She got really tired of her little excursion . Her family never gave up. They went to every sighting. They printed out posters and they are so very relieved and grateful that you are home safe. Welcome home, baby girl

UPDATE: There have been sightings of this dog and people keep chasing her trying to catch her please if you do see her do not chase her. It is driving her further away please just call the number on the flyer immediately with the exact address or street that the sighting has been on

Missing and Reward in Bridgeport. This cutie ran out a garage door and is missing in the Wood Ave area and was last seen near Pacific & Wade streets. Her devastated family just wants her back. If seen, do NOT call out or chase, just call the # on the flyer with details on when and where you saw her. If you live in the area, please check your security cameras for her. Thank you!

If you find a stray dog or cat in Fairfield, the best first step is to contact Animal Control. While social media posts can help spread the word, they should not replace reporting the animal.

Rehoming a found pet through social media can prevent the rightful owner from ever finding their animal. It also bypasses required checks for licenses, microchips, and medical needs, and may unintentionally place the animal in an unsafe situation.

Animal Control works to reunite lost pets with their owners by checking identification, providing care when needed, and following legally required holding periods.

If your pet goes missing, contact Animal Control as soon as possible. Many pets are reunited quickly, especially when they are licensed or microchipped.

Helping lost pets get home safely starts with reporting them the right way.

Fox Sightings

Residents may notice increased fox activity during May as they raise their young.

Foxes may be seen during the day while searching for food. This is normal and not a sign of illness.

Avoid feeding wildlife and keep pets supervised, especially during early morning and evening hours.
