ADOPTED!!!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Meet Hank: The World's Most Sensitive House Hippo

Age: 10 years old | Breed: Pit Bull (but spiritually a hippo) | Personality: Brave (requires validation)

The Situation

Hank is a ten-year-old pit bull who has decided—with absolute certainty—that he is actually a house hippo. Not just any house hippo, mind you. He's a sensitive house hippo who needs you to know, frequently and with genuine enthusiasm, that he is simultaneously the bravest AND the handsomest hippo in the entire world.

This is non-negotiable.

What Hank Loves

Hank loves people. Like, really loves people. He loves them so much that being without them causes him genuine distress. His separation anxiety is real, and he's not shy about expressing it. The good news? He's found his solution: you, sitting on the couch, with him pressed against your leg, receiving a steady stream of reassurance about his bravery and exceptional good looks.

Hank is phenomenal with other dogs and children of all ages. He's a gentle giant who believes everyone deserves his full attention and affection. He's the kind of hippo who will nap peacefully while kids climb over him, then wake up to shower them with kisses.

What Hank Needs

Hank needs someone home. A lot. Ideally, someone retired or working from home who understands that a sensitive house hippo cannot be left alone for extended periods. He's not being dramatic—well, okay, maybe a little—but his anxiety is genuine, and he deserves someone who can be his constant companion.

He also needs regular reminders that yes, he IS the bravest hippo. Yes, he IS the handsomest hippo. No, he doesn't need to worry about that scary leaf blowing past the window—he's still brave. And handsome.

What Hank Won't Do

Hank does not get along with cats, chickens, or other livestock. His house-hippo instincts apparently include a strong prey drive, so he'll need a cat-free, chicken-free, livestock-free home. He's not aggressive about it—he's just very, very interested in them in ways that wouldn't end well.

The Bottom Line

Hank is a ten-year-old love bug who's spent a decade perfecting the art of being a couch companion. He's sensitive, he's loyal, and he genuinely believes he's a hippo. He needs someone who can commit to being his person, his cheerleader, and his constant source of validation.

If you're retired, work from home, or just really love couch time, Hank is your guy. He'll repay your devotion with unconditional love, endless cuddles, and the satisfaction of knowing you've made the world's most sensitive (and handsomest) house hippo feel brave every single day.
