If you were impacted by the recent flooding, please take a moment to review this important debris pickup update.

Please help us spread the word to neighbors who may still need assistance.

The emergency phase of curbside debris pickup is ending. Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, is the final day for large‑truck collection.

If you still have any approved debris—vegetative debris, construction materials, large appliances, electronics, hazardous waste, or sandbags—make sure it’s at the curb by Wednesday and Thursday so crews can get it before the deadline.

Residents needing help to be curbside ready, should contact Samaritan’s Purse, Serve Village, or Southern Baptists Disaster Relief.

After the holiday weekend, crews will begin a smaller, secondary operations phase that includes scouting for any remaining debris. This final pass is intended to conclude the debris‑pickup phase.

Following this phase, residents will return to standard trash pickup methods.

This weekend, we welcomed some of our retired firefighters back for another retirement breakfast. It’s a tradition that gives everyone a chance to catch up, share a meal, swap stories, and stay connected.

We’re grateful for the years these retirees dedicated to the Fishers Fire Department and always enjoy having them back at the station.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for breakfast! 🚒

🚑 Three days. Three locations. Nine scenarios.

This week, Fishers Fire Department crews took part in EMS training at the Fishers Event Center, Holland Park, and Mudsock Fields.

Crews were challenged to make decisions at “game speed,” triage and care for multiple patients, manage available resources, and work together as each scenario continued to evolve.

👏 A big thank you to our community for allowing us to train in different locations throughout Fishers. Having access to these spaces helps us create realistic scenarios and better prepare our crews.

Thank you also to all of our partners who helped make this week of training possible!

Prevent. Prepare. Respond.

❤️ Thank you, Fishers!

What a great morning at Safety Day! Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to learn, explore, ask questions, meet our crews and community partners, and take part in all the activities.

A huge thank you also goes to our vendors, volunteers, public safety partners, and everyone who helped make the event possible. We appreciate you spending your Saturday morning with us!

And a special thank you to Blaze Pizza for donating lunch for some of our crews. After a busy morning, it was definitely appreciated! 🍕

Thanks for making Safety Day 2026 such a fun day with our community. 🚒❤️
