Flint Southwestern Classical Academy is the only public high school in the City of Flint. We serve grades 9th - 12th, and offer a rich education that includes Advanced Placement courses, Dual Enrollment, Robotics and so much more! We have an amazing robust of services through Flint Southwestern's Community Education! We're open for enrollment, and look forward to work with all of our Flint Scholars, and our Flint Families!

Good morning! Please mark your calendars for 8/27/26 for the SWA/ALA Back to School Orientation and Community Resource Fair .There are 2 sessions: 12-2 and 4-6. There is a wealth of information to get your student ready for a successful year. Student IDs and student schedules will be available. The Community Resource Fair will be from 1-5 in the same building. Join us for fun, information, and surprise drawings!

The first day of school for Flint Community Schools is August 31st. It is a state requirement for children attending school to be up to date on their required childhood immunizations. If your child is entering Kindergarten, 7th grade, or is a new enrollee since January 2026 their classes are at risk of being closed if the district has not received up to date documentation of their immunizations status. To assist, Health Services is offering an immunization clinic next week. Please use the QR code on the attached flyer to make an appointment today. We look forward to seeing you on the first day of school.
