🍑 A Huge Thank You! 🍑
Today, we'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Stephen Dunlap for his generous donation of fresh peaches for our senior community members.
Because of thoughtful donations like this, we're able to provide not only nutritious food, but also a little extra joy to the people we serve. These beautiful peaches were a wonderful treat, and we know they will be greatly appreciated by our seniors.
Community support is what makes our work possible, and we're incredibly grateful to neighbors like Stephen who help us nourish our community one act of kindness at a time.

No cooking, no dishes, no stress — just a delicious hot meal and friendly faces!
Join us this Sunday for St. Michael's Community Hot Meal, featuring spaghetti and meatballs served drive-thru style and completely FREE.
📅 Sunday ⏰ 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM 📍 St. Michael's Episcopal Church
This meal is open to everyone in our community. Simply drive through and pick up a hot, hearty dinner to enjoy at home.

🌽🥕🍅 Community Farm Stand Update 🍅🥕🌽
While the Fort Bragg Food Bank may be closed today and tomorrow, we want our community to know that our farm stand will be fully stocked and available for anyone who needs a little extra fresh produce.
We believe everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious food, and we're happy to help keep fresh fruits and vegetables available even when our doors are closed.
Please help yourself to what you need and remember to leave some for your neighbors. 💚

With summer in session our volunteer help has decrease tremendously. We have also lost our team of student volunteers from our schools. Some of our regular volunteers are currently working 6 hour shifts to make up for the decrease.
Thank you to our regular volunteers who have been keeping us above water.
If you have volunteered previously, just come on in and we will find a job for you. If you have not been a volunteer with us, please email Ronda our volunteer coordinatior to set up a volunteer orientation at [email protected] The orientation takes about 30 mins, and then you can volunteer that day!
To have our food distribution line open we need at least 4-6 volunteers alone, and we also need 3-5 doing back of the house sorting and packing. (Kids bags, grab-n-go bags, dog food, as well as produce gleaning and sorting) It takes a village and we need your help.
If you have 2 hours a day you could help we would appreciate it. Monday and Fridays from 10-2 is the time we need the most help currently, although all the times below are available.
We also need some regular volunteers who would like to do housekeeping as well as clothes closet volunteers.

The food distributed at Fort Bragg Food Bank doesn’t just appear on our shelves.

It is collected, transported, sorted, packed, and delivered through a network of staff, volunteers, partners, and trucks working every day to feed Mendocino County.

As transportation costs rise, that work becomes more expensive—but the need remains.

An anonymous donor is matching gifts to Mendo Food Network’s Freight Fund up to $2,000.
