A great big THANK YOU to our ECC scholars, parents, and guardians! ❤️

We would say that arrival this morning went great! We know that we have a few scholars who were sad and adjusting ( a few sad parents too)... but overall- it was a great start to the day! THANK YOU for your partnership in starting each day with positivity and teamwork! 🤗🤝🫶

- 🚫Just a reminder: when parking make sure you're not blocking the driveways of our neighbors! They have places to be in the morning too!

🚨 ECC MORNING DROP-OFF UPDATE 🚨
Beginning Tuesday, September 8

💛 Safe Scholars. Confident Goodbyes. Great Starts! 💛

Beginning Tuesday, we will be following our district-wide building safety and security expectations. This means families will say their “I love yous” and “see ya laters” OUTSIDE the ECC or in our car drop-off lane.

Our ECC team will be ready at the doors with BIG smiles to welcome scholars, help with breakfast, and make sure everyone gets safely to class! 🥰

We know this is a change—and sometimes these transitions are harder on the grown-ups than they are on our little scholars! 😉 This weekend, talk with your child about the new routine and remind them:

⭐ You are BRAVE!
⭐ You are SAFE!
⭐ Your ECC grown-ups will help you!
⭐ You are going to have a GREAT day!

A few quick reminders for Tuesday:

🚗 Car Riders: Use our regular drop-off lane.

🚶 Walk-Up Families: Please stop on the RIGHT side of the front doors for hugs and goodbyes. This keeps the entrance clear for scholars coming from the car lane.

👋 Short & Sweet is BEST! A hug, an “I love you,” a smile, and a confident goodbye helps our youngest scholars know, “I’m safe. My grown-up knows I’m safe. I can do this!”

🏫 Parents/guardians will not enter the building during morning drop-off unless they need to visit the secretary or nurse.

⏰ Arriving after 8:00? An adult will need to walk your scholar into the office for tardy check-in.

It takes all of us—ECC staff + families working as one team—to keep our scholars safe and help them feel confident and ready for school. 💛
