The George Washington Regional Commission will hold its next Board Meeting on Monday, June 01, 2026 at 6:00 PM. All meetings will be held in-person at 406 Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg. There is an option to attend virtually.

Meetings are open to the public. Members of the public who wish to make a public comment at the meeting can either 1) register to make a verbal comment or 2) submit comments in advance to be read by staff. Please register to speak at the meeting or submit comments to be read by staff at least two hours in advance by sending an email to [email protected] or calling (540) 642-1579. Comments will also be accepted during the meeting’s public comment time from those who did not pre-register.

Agenda materials will be provided at the meeting, or you may obtain one in advance and learn how to attend the meeting virtually by visiting, https://loom.ly/FUh3gt0

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, s*x, religion, disability or family status. The 4th annual Regional Housing Summit will be on October 15th, 2026 at the Fredericksburg Expo Center. GWRC staff rolled up their sleeves on April 30th, 2026, for a garden clean-up day at Cedell Brooks Jr. Park in King George, Virginia.

A special thank you to Plant Central Rapp Natives and the Master Gardeners for the opportunity to help keep the community garden clean and beautiful.
