The wait is over! The playground at the Harrison Road Convenience Center Park is officially open for use following its recent renovations and equipment updates. Come explore the brand-new, train-themed playground and swings. The special design pays homage to the historic Virginia Central Railway Trail—a line active from 1877 to 1938 that ran from Orange County all the way to the City of Fredericksburg. You can access parts of this historic trail right from the Harrison Road Convenience Center Park for a walk or bike ride. Plan your visit today to check out the new play structures and enjoy a piece of local history. For more details about the Virginia Central Railway Trail, visit the Spotsylvania County facility page at https://www.spotsylvania.va.us/facilities/facility/details/Virginia-Central-Trail-21
