🎨 July First Friday is ON!

Downtown Fredericksburg is ready for another great First Friday and Sip & Stroll. While an Excessive Heat Advisory is in effect, the event is still happening, and we encourage everyone to take a few extra precautions to stay safe while enjoying the evening.

💧 Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
🏛️ Take breaks by stepping inside a participating art gallery/businesses to cool off.
🧢 Wear lightweight clothing and sun protection.
❤️ Know your limits and when to call it a day.

Please remember that extreme heat can affect anyone, so take your time and enjoy all that downtown has to offer safely.

Meet Ashlynn VanLandingham, owner of Luca Bees Baby Boutique. 🐝

This edition of FXBG Diverse City highlights one of Fredericksburg's newest family-focused businesses. After relocating from Los Angeles during a difficult season of life, Ashlynn transformed uncertainty into opportunity, creating a boutique inspired by motherhood, resilience, and community.

Named after her son, Luca, the shop was built to be more than a place to buy children's clothing and gifts. It is a welcoming space where families can feel valued, connected, and at home.

Today, Ashlynn is proud to call Fredericksburg home and credits the community's support for helping turn a dream into reality.
