I’m proud to say our Historic Fresno High neighborhood pillar stands once again!

When it was damaged, residents made it clear this landmark deserved to be rebuilt, and our public works crew quickly responded, preserving over 80% of the original rocks and material.

Thank you to everyone who came together to restore this neighborhood landmark. When a community speaks up and a city listens, great things can happen!

I stopped by an ongoing concrete project happening on W. Cortland Ave between Thorne and Harrison Avenues.

Walking on these sidewalks, you can see the cracks and lifts in the concrete, and I am proud to say we are resolving these issues. These investments improve walkability, accessibility, and create safer neighborhoods.

We just completed our latest Pave More Now project on Santa Fe Ave near Ashlan and West Avenues.

This road was paved nearly 70 years ago and is now receiving its first-ever repaving.

This story is common for many streets throughout the city, but I am proud to bring overdue maintenance and repaving throughout District 1!
