What an honor to join the 36th Annual Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade! 🌈

This year’s theme, Pride Without Borders, was a powerful reminder that dignity, acceptance, and belonging know no boundaries. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to celebrate the diversity, strength, and resilience of our LGBTQ+ community.

A special thank you to Fresno City Fire Fighters Local 202 for their hospitality and for hosting my team and me on their classic fire engine during the parade. Your continued support helps make this celebration even more memorable.

Thank you to the residents, community leaders, advocates, and allies who joined us in this meaningful tradition. As we celebrate Pride Month, we recognize the strength, resilience, and contributions of our LGBTQ+ community and continue working toward a Fresno where diversity is embraced and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.🏳️‍🌈

Yesterday, I had the honor of joining Central Valley Food Bank, ABC30, and Amazon for the FeedingCal event. It was inspiring to come together with community partners dedicated to fighting food insecurity and supporting families across the Central Valley. Grateful to be part of an effort that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. 🍅🥑🍞

Proud to join the Fresno Police Department for the opening of the new Arakelian Family Kennels, the department’s first dedicated K9 facility. 🐶🚔

These highly trained K9s play an important role in protecting our community, and this new space ensures they have the care and training environment needed to thrive. From daily operations to critical emergency response, our K9 units are an invaluable part of keeping Fresno safe.

Proud to recognize two outstanding proclamations this week honoring Older Americans Month and the historic achievements of Fresno City College Women’s Beach Volleyball.

Older Americans Month is a reminder to celebrate and support the seniors who continue to shape and strengthen our community every day. We were honored to recognize the West Fresno Family Resource Center and Dr. Bill Dailey for their dedication to serving older adults through programs like the Senior Symposium and for their advocacy on the upcoming Senior Center.

We also proudly recognized the Fresno City College Women’s Beach Volleyball team for their incredible accomplishments on the court. Their undefeated 140-0 record and championship victories are a testament to their discipline, teamwork, and commitment to excellence, bringing tremendous pride to the City of Fresno.
