Did you know we have a book lending machine at City Hall next to Stevenson Park? Friendswood Library cardholders have 24/7 access to popular books for children, teens, and adults. The machine was made possible through funds raised by the Friends of the Friendswood Public Library at their annual Gala. We’re excited to offer another convenient way for the community to access library materials outside of regular library hours.

Here’s the Friends of the Library Book Club schedule for 2026-2027!

Book Club meets at 6:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month. Most of the books are available on Libby, our free app for borrowing eBooks and audiobooks. To get started, just download the Libby app on your phone and sign in with your 14-digit library card number.
