Lindsey comes to work with a positive attitude and delivers excellent customer service. She is a strong and reliable member of the department; she utilizes all available resources to achieve results. She goes above and beyond daily on all job tasks. She shows professionalism daily to all individuals, always has a smile on her face. She tries to help everyone no matter what department they are in. Her positivity is contagious to all that is around her.

Fulton State Hospital is pleased to announce our 6th C.N.A. graduate class! These individuals were hand-picked to attend this class that is held on campus grounds. Each of the students took part in an intense 6-week program that included an 800+ page textbook, lectures, tests, patient care skills practice, and clinicals. After graduating from the class, the students are eligible to take a 75-question test and perform a skills test through Health and Senior Services. Upon successful completion of those tests the student becomes a Certified Nursing Assistant.

She is always willing to help whenever needed, and if coverage is needed, she is there without hesitation. Her reliability and willingness to step up show how much she cares about both her job and her coworkers. In addition to being dependable, she brings a positive attitude and teamwork to the workplace. She can always be counted on to support others and help keep things running smoothly. Her hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. Please help us congratulate our July 2026 employee of the month. Stephen Buhrt is an RN assigned to HPC. He embodies the mission of Fulton State Hospital by being a caring, skilled professional who works with the individuals we serve to encourage them on their path to recovery. Mr. Buhrt is often seen out on the living area interacting with the clients. He has developed a positive rapport
that enables him to provide exceptional assistance in diffusing high intensity situations. His philosophy is to make every effort to verbally de-escalate and to use restraint as a last resort. These efforts have proven effective in building trust with staff and clients. He remains calm during chaos and is not afraid to get involved. This investment in the treatment of each client and success of the program affords him the opportunity to serve as a positive
role model to the direct care staff. He is truly a leader on the living area and a valuable member of the Hearnes team.
