Looking for a fun creative outlet? Come pour your heart out at the Blackshear Place Library on Saturday, June 6th at 2:00 PM!

No prior art experience is needed—we’ll walk you through the acrylic pour technique step-by-step.

Penelope Rex, from Ryan T. Higgins hit book series, will be sure to bring the house down as we rock out at a dinosaur storytime with the coolest T-Rex around!
Preschool through elementary children will have a great time with Penelope and her friends with stories, songs and more!

After the storytime, there will be a meet-and-greet with a live character appearance by Penelope herself!

Summer meals are BACK at the Hall County Library this summer June 1 - July 31!

Thanks to Hall County Schools Nutrition, free lunches will be served this summer for children under age 18 at the Blackshear Place Library on Wednesdays at 11:00 and the Gainesville Library on Thursdays at 12:00!

In Murrayville, receive meals for children EVERY WEEKDAY at Lanier Elementary at 11:00 through July 17, then Friday, July 24 & 31 at 11:00 at the library.

Are you ready to Unearth Your Story? Summer Reading 2026 is officially here! Great prizes and fun activities await.
Join the Hall County Library's summer reading program starting May 20th through August 1st!

Who can join? Everyone from babies to adults!

How to sign up: Register at https://hallcountylibrary.beanstack.org/reader365, on the Beanstack Tracker app, or in person at your local branch.

How to win: Log your reading all summer long to earn awesome badges and prizes!

Dig into exciting programs for all ages, including interactive storytimes, live animal shows, magicians, and more. Teens and adults, we’ve got plenty of fun lined up for you, too!

Plus, don't forget to dig up weekly Grab-and-Go Crafts or STEM activities for preschoolers and elementary students. Don’t miss out—supplies are limited!
