TK has been doing some amazing things this week! 💛 Our precious little scholars are learning all about the letter P and the sound it makes. They’re also practicing writing numbers, creating animals with pattern blocks, and learning to build like young engineers! 🐾🔢🧱

⚾️🔬 Science Meets Baseball! 🔬⚾️

Our tiny scientists are using their five senses and diving core-first into today’s apple investigation. We observed our apples, measured our apples, counted how many seeds were in our apples, predicted whether our apples would sink or float in water, and then tested that prediction. Finally we used our sense of taste and ate our apples. It was a delicious day in kindergarten!

🇺🇸 Honoring Our First Responders!🇺🇸

Our PAL students took a walking field trip to Orange County Fire Authority Station 83 in honor of Patriot Day. They delivered snacks and heartfelt letters to the first responders as a small way of showing our appreciation for all they do to serve and protect our community.

We are so proud of our students for taking the time to say thank you to those who help others every day! ❤️💙

Our sixth graders had an amazing day exploring ancient China at Bowers Museum! 🏺🇨🇳

Students learned about ancient Chinese culture and history as they explored pottery, clothing, and other fascinating artifacts. They also had the opportunity to create their own art project inspired by the culture they were studying.

What a wonderful way to bring history to life through hands-on learning and exploration! We are so proud of our curious and engaged sixth graders! ❤️

Eisenhower had our Student of the Month assembly this morning, and it was so much fun celebrating our amazing students! We recognized students who are demonstrating the AVID strategy of organization in their classrooms, as well as students who have achieved English fluency.

When students are redesignated as fluent in English, they gain greater access to opportunities to thrive as successful scholars. We are so proud of their hard work, growth, and perseverance! 🎉📚💙
