Sophomores in Early Childhood Teacher Academy Technologies planned, organized, and hosted a field day for the preschool children

Each year, 10th grade Legal Services and Criminal Justice Technologies students write a persuasive letter about the death penalty at the end of the punishment unit. They have to pick a side, and either argue to bring the death penalty back, or advocate for it to continue to be abolished. They have to use evidence based on what they learned to back up their claim, as well as specific Delaware examples. This year, the students mailed their letters to Delaware Governor, Matt Meyer.

Last week, the students received response letters! Governor Meyer took the time to handwrite a short note at the bottom of each letter.
