Last week, we hosted our incoming 9th graders for two days of learning, exploration, and fun at Raven Academy!

During the program, students prepared for the upcoming school year, became familiar with the campus, met teachers, counselors, and administrators, and made new friends.

From getting answers to questions to participating in engaging activities, Raven Academy prepares students to start the new school year feeling connected, comfortable, and ready for success.

The Millsboro Police Department is proud to recognize Kabreah “K.P.” Pinder, whose dedication, professionalism, and work ethic were recently highlighted in the Coastal Point.

Over the past year, K.P. has served as an intern with our department while completing her studies at Sussex Technical High School. Throughout her internship, she demonstrated exceptional maturity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to public service. From assisting at the front desk to learning about investigations, patrol operations, and victim services, K.P. embraced every opportunity to learn and grow.

We are grateful for the positive impact she made on our department and community. K.P. represents the future of public service, and we have no doubt she will continue to achieve great things in whatever path she chooses.
