Introducing Timothy Triceratops!

Timothy heard we were Unearthing a Story at the library this year, so he made his way to Kansas from South Dakota to share his.

Timothy might be small, but he has had some pretty grand adventures.

Each Tuesday between now and July 28th, stop by the library to find Timothy! He likes to play hide and seek, and the library staff need a little extra help finding him sometimes.

Attention Goddard Patrons - We have a new KanShare App!

If you are using the old KanShare Libraries app with the white background, you may be experiencing some technical difficulties. Downloading the new KanShare app with the blue background should fix all technical errors. The login information for the new app will be the same as the old one. You will just need your library card number and the last 4-digits of your phone number for the password.

This new app should look similar to the old one, however, you may notice that there are more features with the new one. The catalog within the app now connects with Libby, meaning you can view and place holds for ebooks and audiobooks from the KanShare app! You can also make and manage lists to help you plan or keep track of your reading.

If you have questions about the new app or need help logging on, you can stop by the library or call 316-794-8771.

Didgeridoo Down Under has been a fan favorite summer program for many years! They are returning to Goddard on Thursday, June 25th to share the didgeridoo and other Australian music and culture. Learn about the Outback, the Great Barrier Reef, and unearth Aboriginal artwork and artifacts. This is a program you won’t want to miss!

Join our epic adventure to The Land Down Under! The Didgeridoo Down Under Show is an energetic fusion of Australian music, culture, comedy, character building, storytelling, and loads of audience movement and participation. The didgeridoo has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years, and it's known for its otherworldly sound. We'll explore the Outback and the Great Barrier Reef, we'll unearth Aboriginal artwork and artifacts, we’ll learn about amazing creatures like kangaroos and koalas ... and much more ... all while moving and grooving to the pulsing rhythms of the didge and worldly percussion instruments. This show is interactive, educational, motivational and super fun for all ages!
