Great Falls Rescue Mission Great Falls Rescue Mission is a non-profit Christian organization committed to serving North Central

Great Falls Rescue Mission (GFRM) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit Christian organization that has been serving North Central Montana for 60 years. GFRM is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week shelter that provides all its services and programs free of charge. Using Biblical principles, our vision is to be a compassionate community that brings about the physical and spiritual restoration of those in need. GFRM's pro

grams are designed to address the problems linked to poverty, homelessness and substance abuse, which are often preceded by issues related to lack of education, dysfunctional family history, economic stress, lack of employable job skills and no life purpose or direction. Throughout our history, we have developed, re- developed and implemented innovative programs that plant seeds of hope, address the causal effects of homelessness and offer long-term healing and hope.

Thank you for serving our community well, Dr. Parambi! You will be dearly missed, yet we pray many blessings over you and your family!

After years of dedicated service to patients across central Montana, we’re saying a heartfelt farewell to Varghese Parambi, MD, as he prepares to move to the East Coast to be closer to family.

Throughout his time at Benefis, Dr. Parambi has made an incredible impact on his patients and the communities he's served. Since 2012, he has traveled nearly every week to Rocky Boy to provide nephrology care, including caring for patients receiving dialysis. Even when Montana winter weather made the trips difficult, he remained committed to showing up for the patients who relied on him.

His dedication to others has extended far beyond his work at Benefis. Dr. Parambi has volunteered for many years throughout the Great Falls community and even helped the Great Falls Rescue Mission restart its volunteer clinic, helping ensure people experiencing homelessness had access to medical care.

Those who know Dr. Parambi know that despite everything he has done, he is incredibly humble and has always kept his focus on his patients. That was perhaps best demonstrated at his own farewell lunch a few weeks ago. His colleagues had gathered to celebrate him, but Dr. Parambi arrived late. The reason? He was helping a patient.

It was a fitting reminder of the physician and person we have been fortunate to call our colleague for so many years. Thank you, Dr. Parambi, for your compassion, dedication, and contributions to Benefis. We wish you and your family all the best in this next chapter. You will be greatly missed.
