Our recruiters had a great time at the Milwaukee Air & Water Show, connecting with attendees, answering questions about Navy opportunities, and putting them to the test with the Rogue Fitness workout equipment.

Events like these give us the chance to engage with our communities, build connections, and introduce potential future Sailors to the many opportunities available in America’s Navy.

A special shoutout to Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class (AO1) Brittany Sellona for keeping the team fueled by grilling lunch for our recruiters throughout the event!

Last week, NTAG Great Lakes came together at Illinois Valley Community College for our annual District Training Meeting (DTM).

Throughout the week, recruiters and staff participated in a variety of professional development sessions, including SAPR training, Navy Special Operations, Nuclear and NROTC briefs, Insider Threat training, MEPS updates, breakout sessions, classroom discussions, and leadership engagement.

The annual DTM provides an opportunity to strengthen our knowledge, sharpen our skills, and ensure we remain ready to recruit the next generation of Sailors across our area of responsibility. It also gave recruiters and staff from across the command the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share best practices with one another.

A special thank you again to Illinois Valley Community College for allowing us to use your facilities and for your hospitality throughout the week.

Stay tuned for our team-building activities from the week, which will be featured in future posts!
