A little about me. I have spent years working within the fields typically considered “Democrat”. I have watched as addiction took over lives of clients, and yes, family members too. I have witnessed Narcan save lives, and have lost friends to overdose. I have also worked at clinics designed to assist individuals attain and maintain abstinence through medication assisted therapy (methadone) and have witnessed how that can reduce risks. As much as I wish having Narcan easily available was not necessary, that is not the case.
I appreciate the author of the page I have linked here and how they are promoting critical thinking into these complex issues.

Let me ask you what you’ve gotten for your VOTE 🗳️ in Assembly District 90. You have to go way back to 2013 to have had a Conservative Republican in that seat. Democrats outnumber Republicans (supposedly) in this District , so perhaps you believe voting for Rivera-Wagner for a second term is a safe bet.

Does that make you a good Democrat?

Or does it make you a Conservative?

That’s right, a Conservative who doesn’t really want anything to change, doesn’t want to risk anything so your income, your benefits, your pension, your home, your vacation plans and your opinions can stay the same?

In the meantime, Amaad Rivera-Wagner and the Democratic Party in general , are veering away from the values that made your party strong, and Green Bay is paying a high price for their liberal policies.

I got busy chatting with my neighbors and forgot to take pictures 😂 so you get a selfie! It was a beautiful evening spent with lovely Navarino neighbors and community supports. My county Rep was there as was the mayor, but I did not see my State Rep or Alder. Navarino is where I call home. It is one of the oldest parts of Green Bay and is worth saving.

It was lovely meeting Taya and Brandon on our walk this evening. Though we have different signs in our front yards indicating our hopes for Governor, we share common goals for our community. I’ve said 1000 times it’s likely our solutions to our problems lie somewhere in the middle.
