Myth: “They seem fine, so they must be okay.”
Fact: Many people struggle silently.

Mental health isn’t always visible. The friend who’s always smiling… the coworker who never misses a deadline… the parent who keeps it all together—any of them could be carrying a heavy emotional burden behind the scenes.

Just because someone seems okay doesn’t mean they are okay. That’s why it’s so important to check in, ask how people are really doing, and create space for honest conversations. A simple “How are you, really?” can make all the difference. 💙

As part of a service project for Child Abuse Prevention Month, these students created 18 cozy blankets for children receiving medical evaluations at Willow Tree. They thoughtfully chose patterns to comfort and appeal to adolescents.
