🌈 Pride Month at the Groveland Council on Aging 🌈

June begins in just a few days, and we’re excited to share a month of programs centered on connection, reflection, and community.

In partnership with the Langley-Adams Library, we’re creating welcoming spaces to come together, share experiences, and enjoy time with one another. All are welcomeβ€”whether you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, are an ally, or simply want to be part of an inclusive and supportive community space.

All programs are free.

🌈 Newburyport Pride Parade β€” Saturday, June 6
Join us as we head to Newburyport for this vibrant community celebration. Participants can ride together on the COA van or meet us there to walk as a group in the parade. Dress up, wear a pop of color, or simply come as you are. The parade begins at 12:00 PM, with lineup at 11:00 AM. The COA van will depart Town Hall at 10:30 AM. RSVP is required so we know who to expect joining us and so you receive all parade-day details.

🍰 Dessert Social β€” Thursday, June 11 at 2:00 PM
A sweet, relaxed afternoon to connect and enjoy time together.

🎬 Movie: Cloudburst β€” Monday, June 15 at 11:00 AM
A heartfelt and humorous story about love and living authentically.

πŸ“š Book Discussion β€” Thursday, June 25 at 11:00 AM
A thoughtful conversation on Arthur and Teddy Are Coming Out, exploring love, identity, and courage later in life.

You can find full program details and links to register online in the June newsletter: https://mycommunityonline.com/organization/groveland-council-on-aging

It's time for the Revolutionary Library Crawl!

Visit ten libraries throughout Northeastern MA as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of The American Revolution.

Visit an information desk at any of the participating libraries to pick up a crawl passport, complete an activity, and earn a passport stamp. Enjoy unique activities, history, and swag at each stop on your crawl.

5 stamps or more on your passport qualify you for an entry into a prize raffle. One prize basket is available per age group: children, teens, & adults. Turn your passport in at any participating library by May 9 to be entered into the raffle.

All ages are welcome to participate.

Stay tuned for details on Library Crawl programs and previews of the prizes!
