HOLIDAY CLOSURE REMINDER

Please be advised that all Town of Harrison departments will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

Regular operations will resume following the holiday according to each department’s normal schedule.

There is a report of a dog like this one around 483 Bolsters Mills Rd. He was zig zagging in the street. If you see him/her or know where this dog lives please reach out to Cumberland County Dispatch 1-207-893-2810 option 2 and let us know! Or if he’s your dog and he’s home, please let us know. We want to know he’s ok!

That’s a Wrap on the Harrison Recreation Tent for the Season!

The Recreation Tent has officially come down, marking the end of another busy summer season for Harrison Recreation!

We want to extend a big thank you to Recreation Director Brianna Morris and all of our Recreation Counselors for their hard work, energy, and dedication throughout the season. From activities and programs to all of the work that happens behind the scenes, thank you for helping make another great summer of Recreation possible for our community!

We also want to give a big thank you to our Parks Department for their help both setting up the Recreation Tent at the beginning of the season and taking it all back down. It takes plenty of teamwork to get everything ready each year and to pack it all away when summer comes to an end!

⚠️ A quick note for anyone in the area: The tent tarp is currently spread out in the field to dry before it can be stored for the season. Please do not walk on, move, or otherwise disturb the tarp while it is drying.

This month, Town Manager John Bellino will be joined by Select Board Chair Phil Devlin for an informal opportunity to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, ask questions, share ideas, and talk about what’s happening around Harrison.
