What a day to be on the bikes. The administrator and activities decided to cut loose on the town today. With the sun shinning and ice cream in site everyone had fun!! Thanks to our local DQ for the treats for everyone in the bikes!! What a blessing to have these bikes in our community. The joy these bikes bring not only to our building but the entire community.

Photo dump coming……I can’t decide what photos not to share 🙂 we had the Hastings middle schoolers ( 8th grade) stop by today. And honestly what a hard working group of students. We are so lucky to have been a part of this amazing group. Each student was so kind and engaging with our residents and staff.

Flowers can make anyone happy. Even if in art form. The brushes hit the paper and the magic happens. Loved watching everyone create their version of beautiful. We would have to say everyone did an amazing job. 🎨🖌️

Sometimes we have to do walking club inside because Mother Nature says. We still got some steps in and everyone was moving .

Update on the blood drive we hosted last week!!! First we can’t believe we get the honor of opening our doors to the community and everyone working with the Red Cross for such a positive outcome. We have got the pleasure of seeing new faces and the joy of seeing the same face time and time again. We are happy to report we had 2 walk ins and 1 first time donor how exciting!! But mostly the blood collected which was 20 units can save up to 60 lives. Can you believe we get to be a part of this journey for someone. Thank you to our friends, family and the entire community for making this a successful drive!!

We are hosting again in August the 6th so look for that opportunity.

Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen. It’s clear all of our residents speak dog 🐶 Nala May came again. And of course she gave everyone the warm and fuzzies.




She’s also getting harder to photograph she prefers the attention from people not the camera. 🖤

Our favorite ladies made a stop with some cookies for our residents to decorate. We have so much fun when these ladies make time for us. Grateful for the company they bring and the sweets that come with. Thank you!!
