Calling All Parade Entries!

Tri-Valley Community Library is looking for parade entries for our annual 4th of July Parade! Floats, decorated vehicles, ATVs, bikes, walking groups, businesses, families, clubs, and community organizations are all welcome!

This year, we are excited to announce an extended parade route, giving the community more space to enjoy the celebration.
Bring your red, white, and blue spirit, decorate your ride, and join us as we celebrate Independence Day together!

Date: Saturday, July 4th

🌱 Tomorrow’s Summer Reading Program: Planting a Garden! 🌱

Join us at Tri-Valley Community Library for a fun, hands-on gardening program as part of our Plant a Seed… READ! Summer Reading Program!

We have something for everyone:
👨‍👩‍👧 Families: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
🌿 Teens & Adults: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
All ages are welcome, and everyone who participates will be entered into a prize drawing for their age group!

Come to the library and check out our display!! This shelf by our checkout counter contains new books and books that haven’t been checked out in a while!! You can give a book a renewed life in our library by checking them out!! If they haven’t been checked out in a week, we will w**d them from our system and have them out for sale. They will be in the Used book sale pile for a week. If they aren’t sold within a week they will be donated to resale site.

Starting tomorrow, June 1st, our new summer hours: Monday - Wednesday 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm - 7:30. pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Also, our Summer Reading Program and Tundra Tots Program will be on Tuesdays this year starting at 11 am.

Our Summer Reading Kickoff event will be on Saturday, June 6th at 10 am and our finale will be on Saturday, August 1st at 10 am.

🎪 Summer Reading Kickoff + Community Help Request! 🎪
Our Plant a Seed… Read! Summer Reading Carnival is almost here, and we need YOUR help to make it an unforgettable day for our community!
Join us for our kickoff event:
🗓 Saturday, June 6th
⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM
✨ We’ll have:
🎯 Carnival Games
🎁 Prizes
🌭 Food
🎈 Tons of Fun for the whole family!

We are also collecting donations and looking for volunteers to help bring the magic to life! We are currently looking for:
🥔 Potato sacks for a sack race
📦 Cardboard boxes of all shapes and sizes for crafts
🎯 Corn hole boards
🥫 Cans in all sizes (can be full of vegetables — donations will go to Neighbor to Neighbor!)
🙋 Volunteers
🎨 Creative people who love crafting

Every donation, volunteer, and helping hand helps us create a summer full of learning, imagination, and fun for local children and families. 🌻
