Thank you to everyone who joined the Summer Reading Kick-off Party on Saturday, June 13! It was great to see so many families and community members ready to begin a summer of reading, walking, service, and fun.

We apologize that the event was cut short due to the library evacuation. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as everyone exited safely. We are grateful to the Heber City Police Department for their commitment to keeping our community safe.

If you haven't signed up for Summer Reading yet, there's still time! Stop by the library front desk to pick up your Summer Reading tracker and start recording your reading, walking, and service activities.

🍎☀️ Snack Shack has new summer hours at the Wasatch County Library!

From June through August, stop by on Tuesdays from 12–2 p.m. for free snacks during Snack Shack at the library.

On Thursdays and Fridays during library hours (10 a.m.–8 p.m.), pick up a take-home snack pack from the front desk while supplies last.

Teens, tweens, and kids are especially encouraged to participate throughout the summer!

A special thank you to Wasatch Community Action Services and Food Bank for helping make this program possible.

☀️ Beat the heat and cruise into fun at the Wasatch County Library!

This Monday, June 15, we're adding a bonus stop to the Summer Fun Monday lineup:
🚗 1 p.m. – Design and build your very own cardboard car
🎥 2 p.m. – Take your seat in your creation and enjoy a "drive-in" screening of Cars

Every week this summer, enjoy a Monday activity at 2 p.m., featuring crafts, competitions, performances, and more for all ages.

A big thank you to Afton Rutter, Miss Heber Valley 2025, for visiting Storytime at the Wasatch County Library today! Our young readers loved spending time with her, and we appreciate her enthusiasm, kindness, and support for literacy in our community.

If you missed today's Storytime, there's still one more chance to see Afton this week! Join us tomorrow (Wednesday) for Storytime, where Miss Heber Valley will be our special guest once again. 📚✨

This is Afton's final week serving as Miss Heber Valley before a new titleholder is crowned, so come help us celebrate her year of service and enjoy a fun morning of stories, songs, and smiles.
