The Henderson Library summer reading program begins Monday, June 1.
Sustainable Safari will bring live animals to the library on June 1 @ 10 a.m. for a fun program for all ages. Sign up for the reading program and grab a goodie bag.
Sign up for the summer reading program today and enter your name into a drawing to win a fun, summer basket! (inflatable pool/splash pad, bubbles, mini fan, beach towel, book bag, water balloons, toy boats)
Readers can register and pick up a reading log anytime this summer, but if you want to be entered into the summer prize basket drawing, you must get your name in the drawing on June 1.

Story time will be held every Monday at 10 a.m. beginning Monday, June 8. A simple craft will follow each story time.

Check out our dinosaur hunt in downtown Henderson this summer. Look for 8 dinosaurs hidden in the windows of downtown businesses. You do not need to enter the business to find the dinosaur. Write down the number you see next to the dinosaur photo. Return your completed form to the library for a prize and extra entries into our grand prize drawings at the end of the summer. A Google Form hunt can also be accessed by scanning the QR code on the dino hunt poster.
Paper scavenger Hunt forms can be picked up at the library or feel free to print your own at home.

Our seed library is up and running for the growing season. Stop in to browse seeds or donate extra seeds.

We have one State Park pass for checkout. If you are planning a visit to a MN State Park, stop by the library to see if the pass is available to borrow. This gives free admission to a state park.

The Friends of the Henderson Public Library will hold their annual meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the library. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Local Leanne R. shared her travel journey to Antarctica with Henderson neighbors.

We welcomed Sibley County Public Health for a special dental storytime for kids.

Our new "seed library" is open and ready for seeds. Bring extra seeds, take seeds and get inspired for gardening season. The seed library will remain available during the growing season. Stop in for more details.
