⚠️ A ShelterBox team has arrived in Nepal and is assessing the situation after catastrophic flash floods devastated communities.
A powerful surge of water, mud, ice and debris washed away homes, roads and bridges, leaving communities cut off and families without safe shelter.
More than 1,000 people have died, over 4,200 are missing, and an estimated 65,000 people have been affected.
Our team is meeting with Rotary International members and other humanitarian organizations to understand the most urgent needs and how we can best support affected communities.
We are also speaking with potential partners and considering essential aid items like blankets, sleeping mats, tarps, and rope.
