👏 Please join us in congratulating our newest Sheriff’s Explorers sworn in at Highland Station last night, Manuel Silva, Jordan Esparza, and Jaycob Gutierrez! 🚔

These young men officially took their oath and are beginning an exciting journey of leadership, service, and hands-on learning through the Explorer Program.

The Explorer Program gives youth the opportunity to work alongside law enforcement professionals, develop valuable life skills, and build strong connections within the community. Their commitment to serving others and stepping into this role is something to be proud of.

We are excited to see all they accomplish and look forward to watching them grow throughout the program.

🧡 Welcome to the Highland Station Explorer family!

🎉 Congratulations to K. Jackson, who was officially sworn in last night as a Sheriff’s Explorer for the Highland Station!

Jackson took the oath administered by Captain J. Dean, marking the beginning of her journey in public service. 🚔 The Explorer Program provides young men and women with firsthand experience in law enforcement while building leadership, character, and a deeper understanding of serving the community.

This program not only prepares future law enforcement professionals but also strengthens the connection between our department and the community we serve.

👏 Welcome to the team, Jackson! We’re proud to have you!

🚨 Graffiti Enforcement & Community Outreach Update 🚨

This week, our deputies arrested several individuals responsible for graffiti vandalism throughout our community. Graffiti damages property, impacts local businesses, and takes away from the beauty of our city. If you choose to vandalize our community with graffiti, you will be held accountable and may go to jail.

In addition to enforcement efforts, deputies conducted foot patrols in wash areas and homeless encampments, contacting unhoused community members and offering available services and resources.

Our deputies remain committed to protecting our community, preserving our city, and supporting those in need through both enforcement and outreach.
