We’re excited to share a new weekly opportunity coming to the Graham County Health Department! 💙

We are partnering with Parkinson’s Families of Northwest Kansas to bring their Parkinson’s & Essential Tremors programming to our community!

📅 Starting Wednesday, September 2nd
📍 Graham County Health Department
⏰ 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

And here’s the important part: you do NOT have to have Parkinson’s or essential tremors to participate! 🙌

While the program was developed with those conditions in mind, the activities can benefit anyone looking for gentle movement, social connection, and a little extra encouragement—including those living with chronic pain, arthritis, mobility challenges, or other conditions that make traditional exercise difficult.

Each week will include:
🧘‍♀️ Gentle exercise & movement
☕ Coffee & conversation
🧠 Educational information
🎨 Art, music & presentations
🤝 Time to connect with others in our community

Sometimes taking care of our health is about more than doctor’s appointments and medications. It’s movement. It’s connection. It’s getting out of the house and spending time with people who understand. ❤️

What. A. Great. Day. ☀️💙

We had so much fun serving at the Nicodemus Homecoming celebration yesterday! Our “Thirst Aid” Hydration Station kept us busy handing out water, talking heat safety, and visiting with so many wonderful people throughout the day.

Preparedness isn’t just for severe weather—extreme heat is something we all need to think about too, and we’re always thankful for opportunities like this to help keep our community safe.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our hydration station, grabbed a bottle of water, or took a moment to visit with us. We appreciated the opportunity to spend the day alongside so many amazing people, vendors, and our fellow county employees. Thank you for welcoming us to be a small part of such a wonderful celebration.

And finally… a huge shoutout to Tyler and Kase for helping us get everything set up. Lucky for them, the setup video didn’t save. 😂

Graham County is accepting sealed bids for the roof replacement project at the

Graham County Public Health Department located at 114 E. Walnut Street, Hill City, Kansas.

Bid packets may be obtained by contacting the Graham County Health Department at (785)-421-3326.

Bidding is open June 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. and close on July 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Late bids will not be considered.
