Civil Air Patrol Hawai'i Wing Volunteers serving America’s communities, saving lives, and shaping futures. Air Force and as such is a member of its Total Force.

Hawai‘i Wing of , Established in 1941, Civil Air Patrol is the official auxiliary of the U.S. In its auxiliary role, CAP operates a fleet of 555 single-engine aircraft and 2,250 small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) and performs about 90% of all search and rescue operations within the contiguous United States as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. Often using innova

tive cellphone forensics and radar analysis software, CAP was credited by the AFRCC with saving 108 lives last year. CAP’s 56,000 members also perform homeland security, disaster relief, and drug interdiction missions at the request of federal, state, and local agencies. As a nonprofit organization, CAP plays a leading role in aerospace education using national academic standards-based STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education resources. Members also serve as mentors to over 23,000 young people participating in CAP’s Cadet Programs.

We are excited for the launch of the Parent / Guardian Portal in eServices! Parents and guardians can now add digital approval for events, make updates to their cadet's CAP Health profile, and more! Approvals will be required no later than January 18th for Summer 2026 NCSA/CSA/NFA cadet applications.

On December 7th, Hawaii Wing members participated in the 84th Commemoration at Pearl Harbor. Cadets and Senior Members assisted with ushering military veterans, salute during pass and review, carrying the US Air Force and Space Force wreaths, visited the USS Arizona Memorial with the Rosies of World War II along with a World War II nurse, and remembered the lives lost on the attack of Pearl Harbor. It was a beautiful day to "Remember Pearl Harbor".
