What an amazing and fun filled tournament weekend we have had! The weather was perfect, the golf course was in incredible shape, the food was chef's kiss - and the company could not be beat.
This was the organization's 35th tournament. It was the largest turn-out we have had in more than 10 years. 74 teams (296 players) filled the 4 flights! Our amazing chefs, Lieutenant Brian Harris and Sheriff Peter Johnson, grilled 288 burgers, 176 hotdogs, and 108 sausages, along with 5 pounds of bacon and one omelette. A few new trends were developed, as shown in the pictures below - the top notch bacodog - grilled bacon added to a grilled hotdog in a bun. It quickly became a fan favorite! Also, B & G hot dog relish - if you haven't tried it, you need to!
We didn't get a lot of team pictures this year - it was very busy and things were moving quickly - but we APPRECIATE our players, our sponsors, and our hometown golf course. The tournament receives rave reviews every year, and it couldn't happen without all the support we receive.
