Ukraine deeply appreciates the bipartisan leadership in the House and all members who supported the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, a vital effort that honors the late Senator's legacy to defend freedom and strengthen peace.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act.

💬 "The Lindsey Graham bill, along with other strong sanctions steps by our partners against the source of this war – against Russia – is an extremely powerful tool that can stop this terrorist war and bring Russia to the point where it has to make peace", highlighted President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and noted that sanctions must be strong for all efforts for peace to succeed.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stressed that it is time for all partners to follow up with further sanctions, including introducing a full embargo, full entry bans for Russian combatants, full restrictions on the shadow fleet, and full blocking sanctions against Russia's military-industrial complex: "This is the right response to Russia's refusal to end its terror: uncompromising pressure on the aggressor to defund its war machine."

Черговий контейнер з медичною допомогою вирушив з Г’юстона до України!

Цього тижня генеральний консул Віталій Мошківський долучився до відправки з дистрибуційного центру Project C.U.R.E. Houston 40-футового контейнера з медичним обладнанням та матеріалами для українських медичних закладів.

Від початку повномасштабного вторгнення Project C.U.R.E. вже доставив в Україну 230 контейнерів медичної допомоги, які надійшли до закладів охорони здоров’я у 12 областях.

Щиро дякуємо Project C.U.R.E. за незмінну підтримку України та увагу до потреб наших медичних закладів, а також всім волонтерам, хто долучився до пакування та відправки цього важливого вантажу💙💛

Another container of medical aid has departed Houston for Ukraine!

This week, Consul General Vitalii Moshkivskyi joined the shipment of a 40-foot container of medical equipment and supplies for Ukrainian healthcare facilities from the Project C.U.R.E. Houston distribution center.

Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion, Project C.U.R.E. has delivered 230 containers of medical aid to Ukraine, reaching healthcare facilities across 12 regions.

We sincerely thank Project C.U.R.E. and its team for its unwavering support for Ukraine and continued attention to the needs of Ukrainian healthcare facilities, as well as all the volunteers who helped pack and prepare this important shipment! 💙💛

Russian attacks continue across Ukraine. In Kyiv, a university was hit by Shahed drones while classes were underway, but all 160 students had made it to the shelter. Odesa was also targeted overnight, with five people, including a child, injured and residential and civilian infrastructure damaged. In Kherson, a facility used by emergency responders and police came under attack, while strikes in the Kharkiv region disrupted power for thousands and left people injured. Air raid alerts remain active in several regions amid the threat of jet drones and aerial bombs.

Sanctions against Russia, stronger air defense for Ukraine, and increased defense production can stop this terror and save lives.

🇺🇦 Ukraine Load Day with Project C.U.R.E. Houston 🇺🇸

On Tuesday, September 8, Project C.U.R.E. will prepare another 40-foot container of medical equipment and supplies for shipment to Ukraine.

Consul General of Ukraine Vitalii Moshkivskyi will join Project C.U.R.E. staff and volunteers on the warehouse floor as they load urgently needed medical aid destined for Ukrainian healthcare facilities.

High-quality surplus medical equipment and supplies donated by Texas hospitals, clinics, and manufacturers are carefully sorted and matched with the specific needs of healthcare facilities in Ukraine.

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, Project C.U.R.E. has delivered 230 containers of medical aid to Ukraine, valued at $69.5 million, reaching healthcare facilities across 12 regions.

We invite the Houston community to learn more about Project C.U.R.E.’s work in support of Ukraine, volunteer at the Houston distribution center, and help make future shipments possible.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Генеральний консул Віталій Мошківський взяв участь у Infrastructure Summit 2026 в м. Ірвінг, Техас - одному з ключових регіональних майданчиків для діалогу представників локальної влади, бізнесу та інфраструктурного сектору.

Під час панельної дискусії International Panel: Economic Development Partnerships Генконсул розповів про виклики економіки України в умовах війни та перспективи українсько-американської співпраці, зокрема у сферах оборонних технологій і БПЛА, енергетики, відбудови та цифрових smart-city рішень.

Участь у саміті також взяли мери чотирьох міст Північного Техасу: мер Ірвінга Ал Запанта, мер Керроллтона Стів Бабік, мер Плано Джон Манс та мер Арлінгтона Джим Росс.

🇺🇸 🇺🇦 Consul General Vitalii Moshkivskyi took part in Infrastructure Summit 2026 in Irving, Texas - one of the region’s key platforms for dialogue among local government, business, and infrastructure sector leaders.

During the International Panel: Economic Development Partnerships, the Consul General highlighted the challenges facing Ukraine’s economy amid the ongoing war and discussed prospects for stronger U.S.-Ukraine cooperation, particularly in defense technologies and unmanned systems, energy, reconstruction, and digital smart-city solutions.

The Summit also brought together the mayors of four North Texas cities: Irving Mayor Al Zapanta, Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick, Plano Mayor John Muns, and Arlington Mayor Jim Ross.

Today is the Day of Remembrance for Ukraine’s fallen defenders – a day that reminds us of the huge price of freedom. But remembrance lives through many more ways – in the way we speak their names, honour them in our cities, and pass their stories on to others.

We remember. And we will never forget.
