🚨’PROP A’ ON YOUR BALLOT THIS NOV!🗳️ Houstonians will have the opportunity to vote on the Houston Freedom Act (aka Prop A), a citywide ballot measure addressing the enforcement of low-level ma*****na offenses and no-knock search warrants.

The measure would make misdemeanor ma*****na possession the Houston Police Department’s lowest enforcement priority, and end no knock warrants!

Join UH YDSA at our Houston Freedom Act Assembly to learn what’s on the ballot, talk with our organizers, build your organizing skills, and connect with others working to mobilize Houston voters around decriminalizing cannabis and ending no knock warrants.🌹

‼️JUSTICIA PARA TODOS‼️ Last week on July 7th, ICE agents murdered Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a father, construction worker and a Houstonian of 35 years. And just yesterday ICE killed Joan Sebastian Guerrero, a 26 year old husband and father who was authorized to work in the US. Their deaths heavily echo the murder of Renee Good, Alex Pretti and many more at the hands of ICE agents and their inhumane detention facilities.🕯️

With heavy hearts, we mourn Mr Araujo and Mr. Guerrero. With sadness and rage, we once again demand the complete abolition of ICE and U.S. Customs and Border Protection and independent investigations for all who’ve become victims at the hands of ICE agents. Justicia para todos y solidaridad para siempre🌹
