Join us for a YDSA 101: a short, discursive virtual training going over the foundations of democratic socialist thought, the unique history of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and our ideas on how to bring about that better world!

Student in the Houston area? Looking to meet other young socialists? Join the Houston Socialist Summer Program!

The Socialist Summer Program is a member-run series aiming to prepare young people in Houston who are looking to meaningfully contest power on campus, equipping them with critical skills in labor and structure-based organizing. Not only that, but this is an opportunity to socialize with other socialists!🏄

Young people are on the forefront of a movement that could change the world, and we need YOU to be apart of it!✊🌹

F**K ICE

Big thanks to everyone who showed up to our F**k ICE punk show fundraiser! With your help we were able to raise 1300 dollars to help victims of ICE across Houston! Huge thanks to for hosting, .houston and all the bands that performed

YDSA will be meeting Wednesday, April 22 at 5:30 for our LAST meeting of the semester. We will be voting on a new steering committee and important chapter business. We hope to see all of you Wednesday, let’s make this last meeting AWESOME!

UH YDSA presents F**K I.C.E! a ydsa concert: $10, April 24 Bohemeo's . Doors 5pm, Music 6pm .

Do you hate ICE? If you answered yes join us Saturday, April 24th at Bohemeos for an Anti ICE fundraiser. We will have live music from amazing bands NOISEGATE🤫 Plastik Idols refusaltoheal ꜱᴘᴇᴄᴛʀᴇ ꜱᴜɴᴅᴀʏ as well appearances by anti ICE and immigrant just orgs from across the city. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will go to organizations that support immigrant rights in the city.
