Harris County Precinct One invites Fifth Ward neighbors to Fall Into Wellness, a community wellness and cancer prevention block party.

The event takes place Saturday, October 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Finnigan Gym/YET Center, 4900 Providence St., Houston, TX 77020. Activities include health screenings, cancer prevention education, wellness resources and activities for children and families. A Second Servings mobile market distribution will take place at the same time.

Greater Fifth Ward Super Neighborhood #55 is hosting National Night Out, Fifth Ward Texas Style, and Fifth Ward CRC is proud to participate! Please stop by our table and say hello.

A strong grant application begins with understanding the process and knowing what is expected.

The Fifth Ward Community Investment Fund (CIF) Grant Program is committed to helping prospective applicants understand the funding opportunity and application process.

Eligible applicants may apply for grants of up to $10,000. For Cycle 1, funding is focused on Workforce Development and Small Business Support.
