The best day of the year did not disappoint. 💙💛

Senior Signing Day 2026, presented by ConocoPhillips, brought together YES Prep families, students, staff, alumni, donors, and supporters to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the Class of 2026.

This year’s seniors:
✨ Earned more than 12,630+ college acceptances
✨ Surpassed $120+ MILLION in scholarships and financial aid
✨ At least one student accepted to every Ivy League university in the country

From college declarations and military commitments to performances from student dance teams and cheer groups across our campuses, the day was filled with pride, joy, and unforgettable moments.

To our seniors: thank you for showing Houston what is possible. Your hard work, resilience, and determination continue to inspire us all.

And to our families, staff, donors, and community partners — thank you for helping make moments like this possible.

Last month, 140 YES Prep juniors and seniors attended a performance of Fences at Alley Theatre through a collaboration supported by the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Arts Resource Grant. After studying August Wilson’s powerful play in class, students had the opportunity to experience the story come to life through a live performance.

Rising seniors at YES Prep East End Secondary, Pablo Sanchez and Ismael Martinez, shared how reading Fences and seeing it performed on stage deepened their understanding of family, identity, perseverance, and the lasting impact of generational struggles.
