This summer, a group of Harmony alumni participated in externships and visited the Harmony Public Schools' new construction sites in Pearland, Rosenberg, and Missouri City (opening Aug 2027). Led by Harmony's construction Project Management team, they explored the ins and outs of our construction projects, gaining valuable real-world experience and seeing how STEM skills translate to careers in building and design. 🏗️🔬

Lynda has been named one of the Texas State Board of Education's 2026 Student Heroes, a prestigious statewide honor recognizing students who demonstrate exceptional character, kindness, leadership, and service to others.

As a mentor, tutor, and advocate through Compass Connections, Lynda is making a meaningful difference in the lives of young girls while also excelling academically as a National Merit Scholarship recipient.

🌟 Harmony Alumni Spotlight 🌟

Today we’re proud to recognize Mr. Urquieta, a proud graduate of Harmony Science Academy! Harmony Science Academy-San Antonio

Mr. Urquieta now serves as a Structures Mechanic Lead, where he helps repair and modify C-17 military cargo aircraft—an incredible career that reflects his passion and dedication.

When asked about his time at Harmony, Mr. Urquieta shared that he was highly engaged throughout his years at HSA. He credits the Engineering Pathway with helping prepare him for the career he dreamed of as a child.

“I wake up every day doing what I’ve loved since I was a kid.”

Fun Fact: Outside of work, Mr. Urquieta enjoys life on his ranch, where he spends his free time riding horses, milking goats, and caring for his animals.
