The India Energy Opportunity Roadshow 2026 was successfully held in Houston on 24 September 2026, showcasing India’s bold upstream reforms, Samudra Manthan, and investment opportunities under OALP X & XI.

Secretary Mr. Neeraj Mittal, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, delivered the Keynote Address, highlighting India’s accelerated upstream strategy, transparent policy reforms, and new incentives shaping the petroleum & natural gas ecosystem. Senior officials from MoPNG, DGH, IOCL and ONGC joined the delegation and had detailed technical sessions on India’s evolving E&P landscape, deepwater exploration initiatives, data acquisition progress, and collaboration opportunities with global partners.

Consul General Mr. D.C. Manjunath delivered the Welcome Address, emphasizing “India Rising — And Why It Matters Now” and Houston’s pivotal role as a global hub for energy innovation and technology.

Participants were also invited to join India Energy Week 2027, India’s premier global energy platform bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and innovators.:

CG conveyed warm greetings to the community on this special milestone and appreciated HMM’s longstanding efforts in preserving and promoting Maharashtrian culture, traditions and heritage in Houston.

Waaree is making major investments in Texas, expanding its Brookshire solar manufacturing facility from 1.6 GW to 3.2 GW, with plans toward 5 GW capacity. A strong example of Indian industry contributing to Texas’ clean energy ecosystem.

Consul General D.C. Manjunath virtually addressed IIMpact 2026 – Pan IIM Alumni Conference, organized by IIM Americas–IIM USA at Collin College, Frisco, Texas, on September 26, 2026.

In his inaugural address, Consul General appreciated the contributions of the IIM alumni community in the United States and their role in strengthening the India–U.S. partnership through business, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and investment.

The conference, themed “Navigating a Complex, Uncertain World,” brought together IIM alumni, business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals for discussions on leadership, emerging opportunities and navigating an evolving global environment.

CG appreciated Ms. Ashima Jain, President, IIM Americas & IIM USA, and the organizing team for bringing together the Pan-IIM community and providing a platform for meaningful engagement and collaboration.
