That's a wrap on our annual Meet the Family: Back to School Extravaganza! 🎒

More than 100 students left today with backpacks and school supplies in hand, and their families left with connections to our Mental Health Counseling, Financial Stability Coaching, and Community Support Services. We also showed up for local educators, providing classroom supplies and mental health support from our clinicians as they head into the new school year.

Thank you to the Houston Junior Woman's Club for helping make 'Meet the Family' possible.

This summer, Family Houston’s Sunshine Meals program is helping bridge the gap while school is out by providing shelf stable meals to children and families across Greater Houston.

Join Family Houston for our Meet the Family Back-to-School Event on July 17! 📚

Teachers are invited to stop by, explore our resource tables, and learn more about Family Houston’s programs, services, and community support resources.

We are proud to provide classroom supplies for 25 teachers and back-to-school supplies for 100 students. Teachers can also take part in a 15-minute check-in with a Family Houston clinician to discuss classroom concerns, student needs, and available resources for additional support. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win one of two raffle door prizes.
